One of the problems for stratas is the fact that “garage sales” are usually not allowed. It’s great if you can take your gently used articles to Salvation Army, SOS or Sally Anne however sometimes garage sales can be great for a neighbourhood. In the case of a strata, maybe a neighbour would like a kitchen table and chairs or some old DVDs. You can pass these around and possibly sell them to a fellow strata owner. - A Chat Line:
Do you sometimes wonder as you live in a strata about starting up a book club, a golf group or even a crib club? It can be simple when you put the idea out there. We know of friends who discovered new owners in the strata were interested in reaching out to find anyone interested in walking every week. A Chat line can be private and offer a great benefit to building “community” in the strata.
